This morning, God answered prayers. He opened up the heart of Martin, giving him a vision to have a church in his household. The Lord used us today to exhort, share, and encourage.
In the end of our time with Martin, he himself was sharing Bible stories and promising to God to be obedient by speaking God's truth to his family this week.
What a significant, Spirit-led morning it was with Martin! I truly believe that God will plant a church there among that family.
Chris and I then caught a taxi to Mira Flores so that we could meet with Alfredo. Again, God showed-up and took over. We didn't share one story with Alfredo. Instead, he told us the story of Abraham and Isaac and of Peter walking on water.
We encouraged him as well to meet with his family to share God's word, praise Jesus, testify to all God has done, and pray for and with one another. Alfredo committed to meet as such this week. He even practiced telling the story of Abraham again so that he'd be ready to tell it to his wife, son and daughter.
What a blessing-filled weekend!
God also answered prayers concerning the Amarakaeri. I received an encouraging e-mail from Jeremy last night, which included the great news that he has found-out much information regarding the culture and location of the Amarakaeri. For this, we have been begging through prayer.
After I read the news, I quickly got together with Marcello and Chris. The three of us prayed together, praising our Lord for all He is doing to answer prayers and prepare us for His mission. Because the Lord is in control, not one breath of me doubts that we will be ready to live to His calling.
